My chaise made friends laugh last night when they came up to the apartment for the first time. They were traveling from Maine to NC with a dinner stop in CT. I knew it would be a fun night, and it did not let me down. They are good friends and always leave me on a "high note" feeling.
Yesterday I only got my back and forth, back and forth walking to work in, but did drive over for a quick swim before I had to get ready for dinner. I took them to an Italian restaurant since they had their fill of seafood on their east coast travels.
Busy day at work yesterday and lots to do to prepare for a meeting at VSW on Friday. Want to get an agenda out to the new boss tonight so we can make sure we cover everything. I feel that the summer is slipping away when it comes to getting everything done before people start coming back to campus.
May head up to a friend's pool after work today instead of the town pool. I will see what my energy level (and the weather) have to say about that plan.
