This picture has nothing to do with my challenges, but it was the high point of my day. The technology challenges I had at home were how to move forward on the high tech curve, but my issue yesterday was how to do we deal with 90+ year old parents who are married to a land line and need repair...you can't even find any contact numbers on the web for how to get help and the "robo" deal my father called said "Saturday"...not good for people who rely on their land line AND do not know how to answer their cellphone. I will address that on Friday. I did get my cousin and uncle involved (in the "it takes a village" theme) who both worked for the real phone company back in the day and they seemed to have cut through some of the layers of avoidance of the phone company to even deal with land line customers and today should be the fix it day.
I did get a good walk in and swim. I needed that.
Lots on my mind, but when change is in the works - there is always "stuff" that comes and goes as I move from one level to another. My goal is always to spiral up. But no matter where the spiral is going it can be a bit "dizzying". I am pleased with my patience on this one. But I do need the Congress to get their jobs done this week. I want to limit the things I have to think about it so I would appreciate their assistance.
Pool is closed tonight for a swim meet so if it is not raining, I might have to go the family friend's pool. We will see where I head tonight.
Have a good Thursday and keep a good thought that my parents are back on the phone today.
