Near miss as I walked to the pool yesterday. I was about to enter the crosswalk after one family stopped for me but the car behind them did not stop and sent their car into the crosswalk. Police, fire dept (to clean up fluids coming out of the second car), people passing by. I almost wish people wouldn't stop for me because there have been a lot of near misses. This is the first time the following car hit the car in front when I was waiting to cross.
Then I finished my walk to the pool to find the pool was closed. Someone had "pooped" in the pool. Was trying to think of other words to use, but decided to just say what happened. So when I got home (again) I got in my car and drove to our family friend who has a pool and visited and swam there. It was a day of "what if's".
Went grocery shopping. Then went for a long walk.
Also emailed my son to tell him I was thinking about him. It felt like it was a long time ago since he had his surgery, but it is just two weeks this Tuesday...but he was on my mind a lot this weekend.
Got home yesterday in time for Q&A. Did my ironing during that. So I finished my weekend to do list. I am thinking I will have VSW work to do today. Might run over today if it is raining this afternoon as they are predicting.
Keep calming thoughts for me today. No plan going into the week except taking father to doctor's appt on Thursday, go to sister's on Friday to have dinner with her and a niece (who has cleaned out her closet again so I will have new summer fashions!). Niece just back from 6 weeks in CA with her father.
