Friday

"Make allowances for a friend's behavior today. It is better to forgive and forget than make an issue of something you know you can't change. Besides, think of all the times they have forgiven you in the past."

One week and a day from vacation.  Seems like this week will never end.  A lifetime since Wednesday morning.

Tomorrow will be my last day at work #1, that is going to be strange on so many levels.  Yesterday was work #1, get car fixed.  Brake issue turned into under-inflated tires.  Then to work #2. Then to parent's.  Dinner with father and siblings.  Then home.

Needed a night with Steinbeck and quiet.
