June 27

"A home situation is about to reach critical mass on June 23, plus or minus four days. You may be moving - perhaps due to changes in your career - or renovating because your evolving career will make it possible to launch an expensive renovation plan. Or, you may settle a question about a roommate or be called into action to help a parent. Whatever happens at June's end, you seem to have things completely under control."

I had to go back and see what my cosmic guidance said about the end of June and a parent..."June 23, plus or minus 4 days".  very interesting.

Picture is from a family event at the Bond Hotel I would say in the 50's.  My mother's family.  Still hard for me to get my head around what has happened.  Hurry up and wait for everything to happen.  Mother and father had made a deal with UCONN med school to donate bodies - so now we know that "no good deed goes unpunished" - nothing is easy.  Incredibly my sister has a state employee who actually return calls.

I made lots of trips back and forth from home to my parents' house.  4 a.m. sister calls, 5:30 a.m. or so my mother's body was taken from the house, and from then on out I am not sure what happened when.  Two sisters arrived about 6 p.m. and we finally had everyone gathered and planning began.  Sister #3 will drive the bus on plans, writing obituary, and it looks like it will be late July before we have the service.  How involved that is will depend on what my father decides he wants to do.  I keep thinking that maybe we will have a service for both of them by then...don't know how interesting life will be for my dad without my mom.   We will see.

Better get going - today get brakes fixed, spend some time at work #1 and #2.  Go into my father's.

Have a peaceful Thursday.

Hi Anne, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I still have to remind myself that my mother isn't in Nebraska anymore. Take care of yourself. I lost your email address. How weird that I thought about looking at your blog today.

Carol Molina
