"Even if you tend to believe that all things are possible you may have to
admit that something is just not working this weekend. That's okay, no one
expects you to be perfect, so don't expect it of yourself."
Winter sports schedule and parents' end of life (? still as to the when) issues are both eating my lunch. I appreciate this guidance AND the fact that I will be seeing some dear friends this coming week AND the longest day of the year is coming up. I will use all to help me over the hump to get me to July 6 when I will re-charge and re-direct my efforts to make my life what I want it to be in this new phase. I flash back to the "mobile" visual that I used a lot in my past - once one component of the mobile moves all the components move and then it takes a bit for it all to fall back into its new spot - post disruption of its inertia. Good reminder for me.
Today I did some house cleaning, watering plants, reading my new Cather. The Professors House. Very good - not that I am surprised.
I am going to try and crack the code for the winter sports schedule, take a long walk, go to church, home early and become one with my couch. Tomorrow I will stop by the parents. Want to start the week off on a new note. Feels better already.
Have a great Saturday.
