I do expect to be "a bit more sensitive" today - first day back at work since July 5...Need to collect my thoughts as to what needs to be done between now and school opening. Yesterday was free flow - met sisters at my father's. One sister brought live lobsters and got the big pot of boiling water going on top of the stove, another pot for corn on the cob and we re-lived a regular summer occurrence from our younger days when we went to the beach for a bit chunk of our summer. I got there early and went for a walk. Not as hot, but still toasty.
Before I got to father's - did a mega-shopping at Shoprite trip. Have enough Klondike bars to last me forever or close enough. OJ for company-friends tomorrow, son and might have a sister this weekend. Recycled all the cans that don't get recycled for cash in NH. I also bought a strawberry shortcake cake to take with me to my father's. Not homemade like my other sisters always do, but seemed to be very well received. After dinner, I came home then went to the pool (NOT a good substitute for Lake W!!!...) and then swung by work #1 to talk to the boys. I do miss the people but not the situations. No reading on Saturday night or yesterday. Still have "The City in History" to finish.
Today - work #2 until I feel prepared for the next week or so. This week will be irregular schedule and it will probably be that way until August 1. But since I do not get paid until Aug 1 - I can't feel too bad. August 19 at work #3. Need to build up my endurance by then. BUT also need to figure out what my grander mission for the year ahead.
Got home in time to watch the news last night, Castle, Q&A.
Guess I will close my back windows today. Those are the only ones where rain is a problem and they are calling for isolated t'storms today.
Never got to OSJL's for a new bathing suit and need to pick up some cereal. Did not realize that I only had one box left.
Better get going. Have a good Monday.
