Vacation - 3 days left

Weather fireworks came up last night, but not until I had a great dinner at my vacation neighbor/landlord and a boat ride into the village at dusk.  Then the lightening started and the sky over the lake lit up.  Very dramatic.

Trying to mentally prepare myself for "re-entry" to non-vacation life.  The vacation I fought against for the first week has settled in over this second week.  I do question what I should be doing as my next step above and beyond resuming my usual when I get back home.  We will see where life leads me.

Have a friend and her daughter coming into town on Tuesday.  They will be staying with me at the apt.  Hope the heat wave has passed by then.  My apt is comfortable for me...but don't know how it feels for "regular" people.

Need to plan my cottage cleaning for my Saturday departure.  I have not made much of a mess, but want to make sure everything is left better than when I arrived.  Another goal is not to get in a car until I leave on Saturday.

Reading my latest Follett and loving it.  It is hardback versus paperback and 900+ pages so it is harder to hold on to as I read on the dock.
