Vacation - next to last day

"You will notice something that others have missed today and it may be something you can turn to your advantage financially. Is it immoral to do so? Of course not. It would though be stupid to ignore it."

Vacation is winding down.  No loons at the Loon Center but there were mosquitoes the size of Loons on the "nature walk" part of the presentation...but the video was very good.  A short version of a "March of the Penguins" type movie.  Loons are a very interesting breed.  Walked into Alton yesterday for my second long walk of the vacation.  Heat wave is supposed to break out at the same time of the end of my vacation.  That is a good thing.  I have now finished both the Ken Follettt books.  Today not sure if I will try and start the Mumford book.  Might make a list or two of what I want to accomplish next week - still not officially working anywhere and also gearing up for the memorial service for my mom.  Still a bit surreal for me.  I will look forward to August 1.  Back to work and have the service behind me.  Father still a factor but I will see how that has been playing out while I have been out of town.

Son should be in town around this time next week.  Very curious as to what he sees as memorial service garb...

Today will be centered around the water now that I have my long walk out of the way and can return all books to my vacation landlord/hosts.  I am thinking that I will have a couple of stumbles as I try to adjust to non-lake life.  This has been a very unique two weeks for me.

Have a good Friday.  Keep cool.  I am off to jump in the lake.
