Friday the 13th - Oct 2023 version

Not much color this year but will compare this pick from a few years back to what I see what I see out my back window once sun is up.  :)  Yesterday - walked up to library, met up with family friend and grandson for a short walk, then walked my usual Friday route.  TX friend called.  She will take off for New Mexico today rather than her planned Friday.  She will be staying at a family friend's house when she is in CT at end of month.  People stay away from my apt in the colder months...I don't blame them.  :)  Yesterday's watches - Finished Lex, half WBD - listening to the rest this a.m., all of All-In.  They spent time talking about Lex and Jared...  Have Grant Williams and Rebel Capitalist queued up next.  

Read my Hillerman last night and this a.m.  Looks to be another beautiful day.  Will look forward to my walk to Shoppes.  Did get the intel on Medicare increase for 2024.  Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the monthly Medicare Part A and B premiums for 2024 on Thursday, with the costs set to go up by 6% next year. The premiums would increase by $9.80 from $164.90 to $174.70 in 2024. The annual deductible for Medicare Part B beneficiaries will go up from $226 to $240 as well. This price increase comes after Medicare Part B premiums went down for the first time in more than 10 years in 2023.  I have never reach my deductible...  Will wait till Dec to see what my SS money will be for 2024.
