Sobbing getting to the end of the Grohl book. As I shared with PD buddy this a.m. Sobbing from reading this a.m. Leaving the last chapter of the Grohl book for a quiet moment tonight. Walk with a former co worker from 2006... and massage thursday today and last chapter. Will be "a day". :) Did light candles and burned incense as I did my post EOLD session apt cleaning. Sun, breeze, clean apt - calm afternoon. Listening to latest WBD this a.m.
hour before Lansing DC. Good to talk to him. He had a friend visiting from Boston who had an episode and son had to get his family involved to get him home. I had met him at our visit to the Kennedy library in Boston. Son knows and has experienced before when people he knows crack under life. When you surround yourself with people who are artists - there will be episodes. What makes my heart calmer is that my son has also surrounded himself with grounded and supported. It is a life of ups and downs. But we also talked about something that for different reasons got us both thinking about OZEMPIC. He was looking at the stock market ripple effect. I was looking at people looking at pharmaceutical versus lifestyle choices put in front of them... I will send him the Prof G snippet about the stock angle.
Yesterday I was so taken with the latest Rich Roll I listened to. Sent a thread to PD buddy as to a youtube journey he might want to take - Roll to Harrisberg to Hill. AND perhaps a future "experience". Back and forth with a college friend - her birthday - and maybe we will put together a trip for her and her husband to come to my part of the state. We will see. Text too late in my day from TX friend. She is off to ABQ for the last weekend of the hot air festival. Her husband flying back to Loreto today. I am curious to hear what her trip to New England looks like in late Oct/Nov. Her DIL's baby shower is Nov 4. I was invited and respectfully declined. I'm not much for events.
After I hear from TX friend, I will get with sister #4 to see what she is thinking about the trip we talked about for Nov - NC to meet grand nephew and Thanksgiving at sister #1's. I will see if there has been more talk. Did not hear from brother as to SIL's hip operation yesterday. Hope he will give me a call.
