Shoprite, etal

Actual new sneaker from Monday shopping.  Lottery ticket = no $.  Oh well.  Listened to Arnold and Tim Ferris.  Very interesting book tour Arnold is going on.  Another interesting snippet yesterday was when I watched the roll call for a few minutes that ended with another historic event re our Speaker of the House...we have been overwhelmed with historic events in the last almost decade.  :/

Yesterday chores, Shoprite.  As I wrote my brother - spent $54.62 and "saved" $58.41 per my receipt.+ $3.43 senior discount, 32 items.  I think I parlayed everything I could out of that visit. He called on his way home to check on my shopping and to say he is on the lookout for a car at his place of work. CCRC's can be a good place for that looking.  :)  Set up a walk with a former co worker for Oct 12 morning.  Today walk with family friend and grandson, clean apt, noon EOLA conversation.  

Did some look up re the Supreme Court decision about the uranium deposit in Virginia that is located on a parcel of land that back in the day was a stop on Washington's post inauguration trip to all the states.  

Heard from PD buddy this a.m.  He is working overnight so he has already done his word work by 4 a.m.  He could not wait to tell me that he has met a new lady friend.  I will try and get some details when I see him on Thursday when he does his weekly "elderly check" on Main St.  :)
