Company day :)

This pic is from a previous episode.  But yesterday started with a Housel-Ferris discussion.  GREAT way to start the day.  I don't think there is a better, smarter person than Morgan Housel.  Breakfast with TX friend at LaSalle.  Then she headed back to where she was staying and I tuned in to the Completed Life Initiative conference.  Jessica Zitter, a bit of the Thalia DeWolf, Jean Abbott, & Jeanne Kerwin segment and end of day with Amy Bloom.  The noon session spoke to the privilege of end of life decisions.  Cleaned apartment before LaSalle, went for my walk after breakfast, then met back up with TX friend to go to Puerto Vallarta for "linner".  Then back to my apt. to watch a Netflix movie on my "magic TV" which was turned on last when TX friend was here this summer.  :)  Watched Tammy with Melissa McCarthy.  Friend headed out and I tuned in to Amy Bloom.

Starting this a.m. with Preston Pysh episode.  On the docket for today - walk, meet up with TX friend after she has lunch with a family friend - sister of the owner of the house where she is staying.  Then I will hope we will go for a walk after that if is does pan out and it is sunny and 46 degrees.  Maybe another movie.  TX friend will be off to LaGuardia to pick up daughter and nieces and go to NJ for the baby shower on Sunday for TX friend's DIL.  TX friend DIL and daughter are both due on the same day.  When it rains it pours.

I will try to tune in to Completed Life today...will see how schedule goes.  No conflicts for tomorrow so that is good so I can watch.

The more money-making ideas you have buzzing around inside your head the more care you need to take in deciding which of them are worth pursuing and which of them are no-hopers. Remember, quantity is rarely, if ever, better than quality.

You've been doing well financially. You want to do better, but you might feel temporarily discouraged. It seems you have to keep working harder to keep up the pace. This is more the result of low biorhythms than any true assessment of your situation. Today you might have to work a little harder, but you'll get the results you want. Tomorrow will then be easier on you.

You'll have a chance to showcase your value in professional settings this morning, dear Libra, thanks to a sweet exchange between the Cancer moon and Scorpio sun. Meanwhile, Jupiter activates in your house of shared resources, making it a good time to advocate for that raise you're overdue. Check in with your expenses when Luna blows a kiss to Mars, encouraging responsible spending while granting permission to treat yourself. Just be sure to check in with your sweetie if you share a bank account when looking to make a larger purchase. A harsh opposition between the sun and Jupiter could cause you to pay for it later.

I guess I should pay more attention to my financial status...it was not a good report that I did yesterday a.m. for 10/31/23 status...  I will put my shoulder to it once company leaves.  Hope the timing will work to keep me afloat.  Don't feel in jeopardy, but "the stars" are pointing me to stay attentive?  We will see.

Have a good Thursday.  Another week flies by.  :)
