Different start to this day :)

Kenny G with Bill Maher.  :)  Yesterday listened to Day 2 of the CLI Conference.  Particularly liked what the last speaker had to say.  A funeral director in England.  Looking forward to the noon session today.

Yesterday I listened to Pysh, Rich Roll with his wife, Prof G interview.  CLI conference.  TX friend was on to other things, so I went for my walk and "ran into" family friend and grandson, she called me when she was on way home from dump and was going to reservoir for a quick walk - and I was just a few minutes from reservoir when she called.  She knows my routine.  :)  It was a Thursday.  Then home for CLI, then TX friend came into town and we walked again.  Then she left to meet more people and I went back to CLI.

Notes I took yesterday about things that hit me during the CLI.  Live a life that includes death; loss of capacity; life like a good book and write the final page; book by Rupert Callender - What remains...  GREAT speaker; Presence of their absence, absence of their presence; dying is something you do, not that something that happens to you; response to the path of grief - "Things happen". live your life and fully occupy one's personality.  I feel I do that.  I don't think people are surprised by things I do and say.  Sent the info about Mr. Callender to two funeral directors I have met in Death Cafes.

Great conversation with my son yesterday - he has an angle to spend more time in Tarpon Springs this winter.  Father will keep an eye on his house.  Buddies from college in Tarpon doing new things.  He is looking forward to his travels.  He had a good "gig" at the Eastern Market for tailgate event for Lions MNF.

Going to update Linked in today.  Walk.  CLI - 12, 5, 7 p.m.  TX friend will be back on Sunday after going to NJ for DIL's baby shower.

Today you might do some routine work, perhaps as a volunteer, with an interesting person whose company you enjoy. Lively conversations should make the day go faster. You could end the day looking forward to seeing this person again. Through your new friend and the work, you should gain a lot of insight into the psyches of others, not to mention your own!

Intimate connections could manifest suddenly early this morning, dear Libra, as the Cancer moon aligns with Uranus. Allow your vulnerable side to shine through, drawing closer the companions you trust and adore. However, you should take care to reestablish boundaries when a t-square forms later in the afternoon, which could cause lines to blur. Meanwhile, Venus and Neptune face off overhead, putting you in a private yet dreamy headspace. Show yourself some extra love as the hours continue to unfold, and consider hiding away from the outside world later tonight when Pluto becomes agitated, heightening sensitivities as tension brews in the sky.

Stop pretending that everything in the garden is rosy and face up to the challenges that are lined up in front of you. Once you accept that change needs to happen, and soon, you will find it much easier to influence events for the better.

Sun was great yesterday, same forecast for today.  No problem considering hiding away from the outside world later today. And I am very in touch with the need to set a course - sooner than later. Will be happy to out on the street later.  Have a good Friday.
