Saturday

Had to smile when one of the conference speakers had her half mittens on too yesterday.  :)  So yesterday - Bill Maher with Boy George and Kenny G; latest All-In, 3 sessions of the CLI conference.  Walk.  TX friend made her trip to LaGuardia to pick up daughter and nieces in plenty of time, Sister #4 called to say that her MOHS surgery is not until Nov 30 so we can make plans for Thanksgiving...  :/  I was hoping that we could all stay home and fend for ourselves...  :)  She will talk to Sister #6 and see where her thoughts are leading her.  Sister #1 said her house is still an active option.  I will see where all conversations take the planning.  Son has plans for a Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving in Detroit; with a trip to Florida before and after.  Looks like he might set up temporary quarters in FL for the winter with father around to keep an eye on his house in Detroit.

Today - Finished my latest in the Maisie Dobbs series, just got a signal that one of the books I requested is ready for pick up - The River We Remember, have W&T book club on my bedside table, Lansing DC, walk.  Get mentally prepared for the dreaded "fall back, spring ahead" event.  And Election Day being inside from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. working at the polls.

Thoughts from yesterday's conference session with Anita Hannig.  I could listen to her all day. The reality and potential for the dying process in the US -  60% die in ICU; 22% of people in US have MAID choice; Spend time "dissolving" possessions - nothing holding them back, not holding anyone back; Loss is not complicated; Relief and joy - went how he wanted to go; Uneventful with sense of resolution; This is the time, this is the place, nobody clinging ; radical surrender; Curate a good death, live intentionally and deliberately.  Die as you lived.; Make friends with death; Not how long I will be here, but how I am going to be here; I'm done, things I won't get to, but that is OK.  All sessions are now up for viewing.  I will pass along today at the DC.

Dinner on Sunday, FL DC Monday, Election Day, Lansing DC Wednesday, Massage Friday.  Will see how the time change impacts the week ahead.  AND what sisters come up with as to T Day plans...

The influence of Saturn in your chart is a clear warning that you must not push your body or your mind too far. Make sure you know your limits and make sure you stay within them, at least for the next few days. Taking risks is best avoided.

Sometimes people may reproach you for being less than tactful in relationships. The planetary positions are going to help you be more sensitive. You'll feel like you suddenly have a much greater capacity for listening. Whether or not it's true, others have the impression that you're no longer so self-centered.

Your weekend kicks off with a social and communal start, dear Libra, as the moon enters Leo and your house of community. Though you'll be eager for connection, a harsh opposition between Mercury and Uranus could lead to canceled plans and unavailable companions. Consider reaching out to extended members of your social sphere if closer alliances can't meet up, mixing up your traditional Saturday hangs. You'll have a chance to deepen bonds later tonight when Luna aligns with Jupiter, though you should take care to guard sensitive information when it comes to those who have yet to fully earn trust.

Keep "my" football in mind today - UNC, UMASS, Colorado.  :)

Will settle in to a cautious Saturday.  Pretty much every day for me.  Hard to avoid selfish when "self mode" has been my situation for decades...  Another "it is what it is" and I need to listen back to the mid day speaker yesterday as to Zero Point.  Nothing is stagnant no matter how still my life feels at times.  Every moment something is coming - and going.  Experience many good moments today.  :)
