Yesterday listening Bezos and Fridman - very interesting, another Housel, re-listened to BTV 2024. Now listening to WBD and have All-In in queue. After meal #2 yesterday it was still too nice out so I headed out to return the Krueger I finished Thursday. PD buddy tracked me down. A "chance" meeting on my second walk - the niece of the family friend. Daughter of one of those children left behind in 1966. She was walking home from work at the Town Hall. Time...she was "new" when I was working at the PD. She shared she had been there for 18 years. another "Yikes". Then a Dust to Dust Dialogues: Holiday Reflections and Remembrances session by the lady who leads the Cape Cod DC and so many other groups.
Sent a note to the DC facilitator for Sunday night. Shared the following him along with a copy of the article, picture of monument and Emily's poem. He is a big fan of ED.
"Sister #1 is coming to town this Sunday and Monday to visit since she won't be joining sisters 2 (me),4,6 on Christmas Eve SO I might not be able to "be present" for her visit and your DC! I will see how the visit goes, but just wanted you to know I was not "forgetting". Also thought of you when I got the "poem of the day" in my latest Emily newsletter. Your Remarks definitely light sparks. :) And a friend who I walk with gave me an article from the latest Smithsonian mag. Choctaw Indians giving to Irish farmers...1847. And a monument in Cork County. I shared it with a cousin who visits Ireland regularly. I plan on being in IOWA and Lansing this week. If you are out and about. :) "A friend gave me this article she had torn out of her Smithsonian Magazine. The generosity of Choctaw Nation to the Irish - 1847. The Kindred Spirit monument to the Choctaw in County Cork...speaks to the humanity in the world. Would like to turn back the clock to feel what bubbled up in one group of people to help another and allowed that spirit to soar. People can uplift - I need to be reminded of that.""
On too many occasions of late you have allowed other people to make decisions for you and that has to stop. Only you have a clear idea of what it is you really want out of life and only you have the power to make it happen.
If you don't express yourself today, people might get the impression that something is wrong. The person you're talking to may think that he or she is boring you. Contribute something to the conversation. Strong opinions are flying, and yours is as valid as anyone else's. Keep it lively and witty.
You may feel as though you're walking on unsteady ground as the Aquarius moon and Venus clash, dear Libra, and you should be mindful of maintaining a grounded sense of confidence. Lighter vibes prevail this afternoon when Luna aligns with Chiron and Mars, creating an ambiance that's conducive to sharing ideas, following creative visions, and embracing harmony. This cosmic climate also brings passion to your romantic affairs when a meeting of the minds takes place. An air of jealousy may enter your sphere when Luna and Uranus clash tonight, while a harsh connection between the sun and Neptune may cause you to question your capabilities.
Today Ann Arbor DC, walk "wheels up" at 12:05 p.m. Walk to the Shoppes to see the LL Bean Big Boot. Always draws a crowd with its pop up store. Then start my "strategizing" about heat on/heat off for sister #1's visit. Keep a good thought that all goes smoothly - Sun afternoon to Tues a.m. :) Have a good Saturday.
