Interesting article from Smithsonian...

Thought I had written about this, but family friend had torn out another article from the Smithsonian magazine but guess I have not.  Cork County Ireland connection to the Choctaw tribe.  Wrote this to my cousin who goes to Ireland regularly.  A friend gave me this article she had torn out of her Smithsonian Magazine.  The generosity of Choctaw Nation to the Irish - 1847.  The Kindred Spirit monument to the Choctaw in County Cork...speaks to the humanity in the world. Would like to turn back the clock to feel what bubbled up in one group of people to help another and allowed that spirit to soar.  People can uplift - I need to be reminded of that.  

Spoke to sister #6 and brother yesterday.  I got my marching orders from sister #4 for my contribution to the Christmas Eve dinner.  Crackers, rolls, corn.  I will hope that sister #1 leaves early on Tuesday so I can get on with my Sr. Disc Shopping.  :)  Listening to Fridman and Bezos as I write.  2 hr+...

Lots of listening and reading yesterday.  Rich Roll, some of Psyh.  The Roll one had a couple of lines I wrote down as I listened.  "Everything you need is on the other side of the premium."  "Make a living by what we get, make a life by what we give." 

Heard from son.  He emailed me that he was headed back to Tarpon Springs.  He sent me pics to my picture frame of the high rise he stayed in Miami and from the Heat game he went to on his last night in town.  

Today - drop off book (ordered the next one in the Krueger series), walk.  PD buddy swung by yesterday.  Shared with me that Jan 1 he is moving in with his lady friend.  Interesting development.  Glad for him.  Big step in the "what's next" for him and his kids.
