Day shifted with one text on Sunday... :)

Dumplings...it has been years.  So I started my day with the thought to get my word work done, do some listening, walk to Unionville, 2 p.m. Chicago DC, watch Heartland, call it a day.  Then I got a text from my family friend/walking partner.  She was a speaking part in a church program in the a.m. but did I want to go out to lunch when she was done.  That got me moving to get my walk done (2 hours) by 11:30 a.m.  I got home and was ready to go at 11:31 a.m. and I looked out the window and there she was.  :)  I shared to her awhile back about my thing for dumplings.  So dumplings we went.  We ate and talked.  And then pulled up by my apt and sat and talked some more...all leading to it not being until I was home, finished my word work, sent email to son and nieces, talked to sister #6 and #1, watched Heartland...6 p.m. I realized I had missed my 2 p.m. DC.  I guess I had not been meant to go to Chicago.  I had looked at this before but usually it conflicts with "4th Sunday" DCs.  Oh well.  I enjoyed the day and its content.  EXCEPT I was sad when family friend shared with me what was the ending of her high school boyfriend/girlfriend with my brother.  My brother's first real girlfriend and her first boyfriend.  That has had a place in my mind since she shared the story.  Talk about another "what if" in the life and times of myself and siblings especially when it comes to life relationships.

Today I am up early and goal is to do the same as yesterday - get my walk in and be ready to be picked up by sister #4 to go to her classmate's NYD party.  Lots of overlap between the stories I heard over lunch on Sunday and the people who will be in the rooms today.  The attendees will be brother and sister #4's contemporaries rather than mine.  :)  Sister #6 gave me a rec for a new book yesterday - The First Ladies by Marie Benedict.  I "ordered" it from my library.  Sister #1 said that her college friend offered her a free week at their "spare" beach house this summer.  We will see what week she picks.

You can at times be a bit too self-controlled for your own good and that could be a problem now as Venus, your ruler, squares up to Saturn. If someone hurts your feelings today you must let them know about it – it’s unlikely they are being deliberately rude.

It seems that you're ready for a major change in your life, Libra. But take care that you don't implement change merely for the sake of change. Think carefully about what you really want to do. Some introspection just might reveal that the changes you seek are minor rather than major. You may simply want to begin working on your health a bit more. Jogging a few days a week and vowing to eat salads at lunch rather than sandwiches may bring about a wonderful ripple effect of health and well-being in your life.

Release control as Venus and Saturn square off, dear Libra, doing your best to step into 2024 with a relaxed and carefree attitude. Consider taking a social breather with the closing of the holiday season as the Virgo moon pushes you toward quiet introspection. You'll feel inspired to let down your guards in the name of intimacy this evening when the moon and Uranus join forces, encouraging deep connection. This energy also supports personal transformation, though you'll need to initiate change from within. Meanwhile, Mercury stations direct in your house of communication, helping to clear away the confusion that found you recently.

Transformation supporting energy...I will leave the doors open for that.  :)  Well here it is - 2024.  I have said my "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit".  Listening to the Tim Ferris with Matt Mullenweg.  Incredible trajectory for Mr. Mullenweg and I love his Houston connection.

Have a great NYD/Monday.  Massage will be very appreciated this Wednesday!
