NYD - interesting group of people in my path

I might have to ask my crystal some questions this a.m.  :)  Yesterday was front loaded.  Went out for my walk at 8:30 a.m. which is earlier than usual, but it did set up to be "freshened up" and ready for my pick up by sister #4 and go to her classmate's NYD brunch.  GREAT food.  I was in heaven.  :)  Also an interesting conversation in a room of retired teachers...I know it is a thankless job these days, but they talked about a man who makes his living helping people navigate the teachers' retirement system.  Pensions are a very interesting topic to someone without one.  LOTS of income was sitting in that room.  70-80% of the last three years of their salary forever + HSA funds...Yowser.  My private school teacher sister after 40 years at the same school...not a part of that honey pot.  But more uplifting to me, the people who bought my TX friend's parents' house 20 years ago were at the party.  So fun talking about some of the things they discovered on the grounds and in the cellar.  Made all of us in the room who had spent a lot of time at that house back in the day...no surprises to us.  Funny to think of two people being comfortable in a house that used to hold 8 kids and two parents.  Lots of Winchester shells found when the new owner got bored over COVID and bought a metal detector.  The "new" owners who have been there for 20 years still have to say they live in the Larsons' house.  Too funny.

Yesterday - did not get into the latest Tim Ferris or Rich Roll.  The 12 week challenge - too much talk about blood work as a starting line for me.  First world solutions - money and chemicals answers...not my kind of talk.  Did make it through another Housel.  Listening to the latest WBD as we speak.

Have to keep reminding myself what day of the week is.  Will go to Shoprite, do wash, run dishwasher today.  Walk.  Want to check in on the laptop loan program at Sr Center for my FL trip.  Call the money lady to see if she can become the admin on a couple of things I have that are sitting at a firm where the person I was working with is not longer there.  They won't return any calls I place to them.  :/

Found out that my PD buddy is heading to Florida this weekend with his ladyfriend.  SO wish he was going to closer to my son.  Oh well.

You seem to be remarkably persuasive at the moment and long may it continue. You will know precisely what to say to get people on your side, even people who rarely if ever supported you in the past. Money matters should go well for you too.

Today you'll likely find that you begin to make real progress on a project that may have been stagnating for a while, Libra. You can't help but feel gratified that all of your hard work is finally beginning to pay off. Good for you! You have earned every success that is due to come your way. But don't rest on your laurels! Continue to work hard so that you can achieve even greater recognition.

The Virgo moon faces off with dreamy Neptune this morning, dear Libra, putting you in a quiet and listless mood. Don't force yourself to tackle tasks that can wait for another day. Understand the importance of rest after the busy holiday season. You may feel irritable when Luna and Mars square off this afternoon, furthering your need for peace and introspection. Meanwhile, Pluto encourages time spent at home, and working on your space can help you feel active without pushing your limits. You'll feel more like yourself as evening rolls in and the moon migrates into your sign.

Here we go for the first "business" day of 2024.  In my countdown goal setting - 400 days to get myself to the place I want to be - mental, physical and emotional "place".  Keep a good thought for that.  I thought a lot yesterday why I go to to "next" rather than "now"...  Will give that some thought on my walk today.  Have a good Tuesday.
