I am all about JOMO for so much of what is "the things to do" these days!

Liked this image.  I think it would be a calmer world if everyone had a bit of JOMO.  :)  I hope I will have the joy of missing out on the snowstorm today.  Fingers crossed.  :)

Listening to All-In as we speak.  Predictions for 2024. Might have to listen to this one twice.  Yesterday - 2 Housels, 2 Rebel Capitalists, 1 Psyh.  Finished my latest Krueger.  Started the next one last night.  Walk.  Stopped by library to pick up latest Krueger - perfect timing - and The First Ladies.  The daughter of formerly enslaved parents, Mary McLeod Bethune refuses to back down as white supremacists attempt to thwart her work. She marches on as an activist and an educator, and as her reputation grows she becomes a celebrity, revered by titans of business and recognized by U.S. Presidents.  I never knew the connection to the college near where my son when to college.  Bethune–Cookman University is a private historically black university in Daytona Beach, Florida. Bethune–Cookman University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The primary administration building, White Hall, and the Mary McLeod Bethune Home are two historic locations.  In queue to listen - WBD, Tim Ferris, and This week in start up with Bill Gurley and Brad Gerstner.  Bit morning.  :)  10 a.m. Lansing DC.  Walk to Shoppes.  Dropping book off at library on the way.  Can't wait to see how the supply is going at Shoprite.  Sister #4 said bread and eggs all gone at her Stop and Shop as people "freaking out" shop pre storm.  We are a nutty people.  :)

Lot of chatter in my email about Lynda Bluestein.  Sadness along with positivity in my mind.  Got a report from sister #4...she did her stomach check with the gastro doctor to see if the ulcer blow out healed.  Good news - yes, bad news - they found a "too big" polyp that they biopsied.  Now she has to wait and see. I am thinking I could be swimming in polyps and other things - but I will never know.  Sister #1 and #3 both have polyp issues - stomach, esophagus.  Had a funny call from a classmate of sister #1.  I was sitting in the sun reading yesterday afternoon and he was down at LaSalle having a snack and saw me sitting reading when he went in and I was still there when he came out.  He wanted to see if I was reading the whole time or napping.  I told him all reading, no napping.  We talked for awhile until sister #4's call beeped in.  Too funny that people can see me up on the second floor from the street level...might need to keep that a bit more in mind.  :)

Thinking I will pass on the BB game at former school #2 today.  Don't want to come out of the game and find out it is already snowing...MAZDA is not a snow fan.  :)

Let everyone you interact with this weekend – friends, family members, work colleagues and strangers – know right from the start that you will not be pushed around or dictated to. Avoid even the smallest sign of weakness, even if you have to bluff it.

Your warmth and good nature draw people to you like a magnet today, Libra. Of course, you're used to this occurring, but today these aspects of your character are especially enhanced. You will find that encounters with other people leave you feeling full and satisfied. After all, it is our loved ones who truly make life worth living. The time is ripe for romantic encounters.

Take a moment to appreciate the fresh air that fills your lungs, the ground beneath your feet, and the sweet sights surrounding you, dear Libra, as the Scorpio moon blows a kiss to the Capricorn sun. These vibes are perfect for nurturing the heart by working with gratitude practices. Nature will be particularly healing during this time, marking the perfect excuse to lounge outside or place new plants indoors. An unpredictable energy takes hold when Luna faces off with Uranus this evening, bringing a make-or-break feeling to your closest relationships and any commitments you've made recently.

I will be outside for a big chunk of today.  It is the meat of every day for me.  :)  Have a good Saturday.
