No missing out on the snow today... :/

I will take another pic at first light this a.m.  Had to smile when I went to save the pic from the TV news this a.m. at 5:30 a.m. with road and air temps.  Jan 7 2022 snow pic had the same look today Jan 7 2024.  Hmmm...  4-5 inches is what the weatherman just reported.  Today will be a shoveling day.  Not powdery so I will be taking it in spurts.  

Will wait and see what the landlord tackles with the snow blower.  Town plow just made a pass.  Good news is no goons left their cars parked on Main St.  Yesterday - delay in being able to log on for Lansing DC led me to decide to take my walk earlier than I had thought.  Glad I did.  Got me back in time to go to former school #2 basketball game with former boss and her husband.  Nice break in the action.  On the walk I did drop off the finished Krueger, strolled through Shoprite to see all the nutty people loading up on bread, milk, and beer...storm essentials.  Walking today will be a bust.  Rails to trails are now plowed.  So it will be streets and reservoir and to tell you the truth, shoveling and walking the neighborhood might be it for me.  PD buddy did text me last night.  Sounds like he and ladyfriend are getting bad news about flights today.  We will see if he makes it back today. 

Sister #4 called yesterday to check on me and snow.  She is on the coast in RI.  Not much snow forecast for her.  She was kicking herself for not going to see sister #6.  Weather between her and the Cape would not have been an issue.    

Listening yesterday All In, WBD, This week in Start up with Gurley and Gerstner.  Love the 2 G's.  Today a Tim Ferris queued up. Other than that it will be all about snow.

At this point in my life it is a JOMO as to romance.  :)  Should have addressed that about 25 years ago.  Oh well.  I am waiting for the mind expansion.  :)  Sad I missed my group in Lansing yesterday but second Wednesday is our next reunioning.  Tomorrow ZEN, Tuesday CA DC, Wed EOLD and Lansing, Saturday Wrestling match at former school #1.  I signed up for an in person DC in the next town over...very interesting looking venue.  Fingers crossed that I find an in person group who "gets me".  That is a big if when it comes to me.  :)

I have turned off the news.  I just need to look outside to figure out what I am up against today.  Keep a good thought for my shoveling.  Have a good Sunday.  I will hope there will be some sun in the day.
