"Late" start this a.m. :)

More photos and info discovered in my obit assignment from cousin.  Mother's "mass card" pic.  Also a pic of my father and son - son's first time to see his grandfather in years back in 2016 and the day before my father died.  Son arrived on Monday, father died on Wednesday.  Son was in the US for a wedding of a friend in NYS.  "Coincidence" that that brought him back "just in time" to see his grandfather.  Hmmm...how did I stumble on that pic?  Can't find it as we speak.  Will try to recreate my path.

Yesterday - cleaned apt, got a text from family friend saying no babysitting for her today so she could go on a long walk with me.  Stopped by the library to pick up my next "ordered" Krueger book.  Great EOLD discussion.  Lansing DC.  Read more Lincoln.  Started a couple listens, but nothing caught my ear.  

As we speak, listening to a podcast with one of the facilitator of the Lansing DC talking death on Conversations on Death.    Good start to the day.  

Today - walk and thinking of looking for a bit for more items to send my cousin.  We will see if my energy for that sticks.

Two week from today I will be in FL with son.  :)  First plane ride since Jan 2019.  I am sure I will get myself into a frenzy by then.  :)  Have it on my calendar for Wed Jan 24 - library/senior center stop to print out boarding pass and pick up my loaner laptop.  Backpack only travel so I need to start thinking about minimalist plan for what to bring with me.
