Steps forward

Made progress with some of my to-do list from my Thursday meeting.  Stumbling block is now filling the gap of not having a printer.  So I am thinking that next week or after I get back, I will go to the library to address a couple of issues with their printer and then go to the closest office of my broker.  Dinky transactions but still need the same paperwork.  Hope this will all move toward simplifying things.  And cleaning things up around the edges.

Today will be for reading policies and answering some questions that came up.  And see if that leads to any action on my part.

Other than that yesterday - cold walk. Talked to brother on his ride home from work phone call.  Heard from sister #1 that she is off to Los Angeles.  Her "retired" life feels more "working" than before she retired.  I did some packing for next week.  Light is the operative word.

Today should be Ann Arbor DC this a.m. and W&T book club this afternoon.  I was surprised when the W&T leader said walk at reservoir was on...coldest day of the year?  Not sure if she had been out and about.  I did not have any issues on my walk yesterday that did include the reservoir.  But the only place I really had to be on guard was the bridge over the dam at the reservoir...  I will see if she changes her tune before 2 p.m.

Sent some pics and relatives' obituary related things off to my second cousin.  Our USPS is quite the place...town of 10,000 people with 4 Post Offices.  Each open for what seems like minutes each day.  It always takes me a couple of walks back and forth before I land there at a time when I can buy postage.  But that is such a bottom feeder issue compared to everything else.  Recipient of the package  is older than I am so I wonder if there is someone else in his family who is going to curate all he is working on as to family history...  I will hope sister #4 our family "archivist" strikes up a conversation with him as to what pertains to our side of the family.  I do not think the next generation will have the time, space, or curiosity in who came before.  Just my thought.

A hectic phase is about to begin but it will also be hugely enjoyable, so prepare yourself mentally and physically and get ready for the ride of your life. Creatively and professionally this promises to be a marvelous time. Make every moment count.

This is probably going to shape up to be a busy and rather chaotic day. You might find yourself spending a lot of time out and about, Libra. You may need to run a lot of errands and see a number of people. A friend might accompany you. Phone calls might need to be made in order to make arrangements for future events, and someone might take up too much of your time calling to chat. Pace yourself!

Give yourself space to release pent-up emotions while nurturing the heart, dear Libra, as the Taurus moon aligns with the sun and Pluto. You'll feel lighter in spirit once Luna migrates into airy Gemini, putting you in a philosophically fulfilled headspace. Creative juices flow once the sun enters Aquarius, and your house of self-expression and artistic outlets will seem particularly healing throughout the coming weeks. Just be sure to stay organized when chasing dreams once Saturn becomes agitated midafternoon. Empowering vibes flow when you seek transformation as Pluto enters Aquarius, marking an era of significant personal shifts over the next several months.

"Busy" is a relative word for me.  Walking and reading and eating and sleeping is the usual.  Today may have a couple more items so maybe that will signify "busy".  We will see what the day brings.  Have a good Saturday.  I am hanging my hat on:  "Empowering vibes flow when you seek transformation as Pluto enters Aquarius, marking an era of significant personal shifts over the next several months."  40 degrees by Wednesday so that will help me as I sit here in UGGS, wrapped in blanket, fleece over pajamas, vest over that and jacket over that with my half mittens on. Better than paying the dreaded Eversource but "interesting".  :)
