Theme for yesterday...?

Sent the Rich Roll episode to son and sister #1 Chip Conley-Modern Elder Academy in Baja MX and Santa Fe NM. See if they know anyone who is turning 50 this year - apply for a free seminar at their new campus in Santa Fe.  Amazing what money makes available to people.  I was intrigued by the presentation and the program presented.  "Portfolio life versus career life.  Time affluence."  "Transition rather than change...  Regeneration versus retirement. "Mid life gap year economy on campuses of colleges that have lost their constituents.  1.44 in  Does not check any boxes for me, but interesting.  Think about what could be done if people were looking for assisted dying versus assisted living for one's fulfillment and joy. Embracing the end rather than embracing "buying" longevity.  Not in a giving up mode, but what is realistic as to what is best for all and not just the rich.  Bell curve of aging is turning into a up and to the right... For some, it is a "nothing burger".  They have the money, the housing, social networking to make living long into a cake walk.  Others may be a bit short in one or more of those categories.  Rate of change has been exponential.  Health issues reflect the have and have nots.  I hang my hat on the OZEMPIC craze hook.  There is a silver bullet for anything if you have the money.  And I feel that the completed life concept might be a thought for more than our culture gives it credit for and not just for those with terminal illness.  Heartfelt versus depleting.  Realistic versus aspirational.  Peace of mind versus angst.  Joy versus fear.  Bringing comfort versus chaos.  Life event versus medical crisis.  Planning versus panic.  Gift giving versus tragedy.  Ending with smiles versus pained faces. Uniting versus divisive. Peaceful departure.  Strength and support for those left behind. Kumbaya in its deepest and meaningful way - moments of or efforts at harmony and unity.  "Kumbaya" at birth and death.  Let us celebrate and be joyous at our beginning and our end.  Bring our best, brightest, and loving thoughts and actions to where it is most needed. Self sovereignty and being open minded when it is its most important.  Self sovereignty means the ability to choose the direction of one's own life, and being the exclusive authority over one's own body and mind.  I have to be open to the OZEMPIC crowd, and ask the same back.

Also shows how much some have and how others are struggling.  Also listened to another Ferris.  Sent that one to my son too.  Very interesting brand management/advertising guy.  Chris Beresford-Hill.  My son and I had been talking about a great tag line his alma mater came up with for their capital campaign.  Flagler College - Where History BeginsFor the Ground-Breakers and Wave-Makers.  Flagler forward.  The ground-breakers and wave-makers speaks to their students.  Eclectic group being attracted to their arts, their teaching, business, communications programs and...surfers.  Unique setting, unique student body.  Can't believe it will be 20 years since son's graduation in 2025.

Yesterday I used up the balance - and more - of my SS "raise" with the electric bill.  Turning the heat on for my sister's visit...oh well.  Good walk.  Dropped off Lincoln bill at library.  Listening to Rebel Capitalist as we speak.  This week's All-In not posted yet.

Today - walk once rain stops, wrestling match at former school #1.

Try not to take what partners and loved ones say too seriously over the next 48 hours. Either they don’t really know what they are talking about or, more likely, they are trying to wind you up because they think your reaction could be amusing.

Newspapers, books, and TV are apt to bring a lot of new, exciting, and useful information your way, Libra. This might set your mind going in such a direction as to bring new ideas for projects or business opportunities your way. Discussions with others who share your interests could contribute even more. Expect an exciting and stimulating day, and by day's end you're likely to have opened up new doors for yourself.

Do something playful, creative, and just for you as the moon takes its final steps through Aquarius, dear Libra, inspiring you to follow your passions. Your focus shifts toward domestic affairs as Mercury enters Capricorn this evening, marking the perfect time to try a new recipe, deep clean your space, or host a small dinner. Your mind may require more time at home throughout the coming weeks, especially as social invitations pick up. Check in with your wellness goals later tonight when the moon enters Pisces, finding ways to implement more wellness practices in your day-to-day activities.

In person DC tomorrow...we will see what that looks like.  2019 was the last one for me.  Next week - Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat.  3rd week of month is chockful.  :)  Most do not share my approach but good listeners and I hear what I need to hear.  Gift.

Have a good Saturday.
