Day took some turns yesterday :)

Was not moving too fast yesterday morning until my landlord called me down to take a look at what he was proposing for some new stair railing for the outside steps into our building.  He also said his sister was on the way over.  She was in CT from FL where she lives now.  She is the person who made it possible for me to be in my apt.  :)  She and I have been friends since we were 4 years old.  So good to see her.  She was in state for a dentist appt.  She is scheduled to be flying out this a.m.  Fingers crossed that she is able to get out.  Does not look good from the Jet Blue site this morning.  /

It was noon before I got out for my walk.  Then landlord's wife invited me up for dinner with my friend.  I set the alarm on my phone so I would get back downstairs for the ZEN DC.  I did swing by the library on the tail end of my walk to pick up some books with the snow in the forecast.  

Finished my W&T book last night.  Started one of my new pick ups this a.m.  Snow was not coming down at 4 a.m. when I woke up, but snowing and sticking now.  The President's wife and Grisham's latest were my pick ups.  

No word from my TX friend re her granddaughter.  I did offer the baby's name up at DC last night.  We had a moment of silence.  I wanted to say her name and have others hold her and her family in their hearts.

Today CA DC at 1 p.m. and Cape Cod DC at 7 p.m.  I will be out shoveling at first light.  It is going to stop early afternoon so I want to clean things out before the CA DC and maybe won't need to go out after.  Walk will be a question.  "Sun out this afternoon" per the weatherman I have in the background.
