Heart in heart day thinking about my friend's granddaughter

Thinking of her granddaughter and grandson.  Both born on February 2.  Grandson home on Feb 6 with his parents doing well.  Granddaughter going home on hospice today.  No road map in my mind for this path.

Yesterday it was an 11 a.m. start to my walk to Unionville.  Came home and made a run to ALDI to pick up bananas and grapes...grapes a dollar less a pound at ALDI.  Now I am ready to face the fact that Tuesday will be a shoveling day not a shopping day.

Watched another episode of BG2.  Watched an interesting interview on The Open Mind with Jennifer Vanderbes.  I remember when I was in grad school I was asst dorm director with a director who was a THALIDOMIDE baby.  I had never heard the story behind the drug before.  What is old is new again.  FDA conflicts of interest is not a new issue.

Today I will get my shovel, scrapper and car brush ready.  Landlord is on ski patrol Tuesday so landlady and I will be the shovel brigade.  :)  Perfect timing for massage Thursday this month!

Talked to sisters 4, 6.  Text from sister #1 on her ride back to VA.  Lots of questions and no answers re the baby.

Watched the first series for both teams on the Super Bowl.  Guess I missed a wild ending. Mahomes found Mecole Hardman for a walk-off touchdown in overtime on Sunday to deliver a 25-22 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in a thriller. The Super Bowl victory is the second straight for the Chiefs and their third in five seasons. It also marks their second win over the 49ers in the Super Bowl after beating San Francisco following the 2019 season.  Interesting and I wonder if there are people betting on sports jumping off buildings with that ending.  :/

If someone who outranks you makes life difficult for you today you would be wise not to react, and certainly don’t overreact. Stay calm, focus on your aims and pretend not to notice when they do their best to stand between you and your goals.

Put your physical needs and sense of wellness first this morning, dear Libra, as the Pisces moon blows a kiss to Mars. Luckily, you'll find it easy to maintain harmony while tackling Monday's chores as Luna migrates into Aries, creating the perfect balance of invigoration and grace. You'll have a chance to transform and deepen bonds when Pluto activates, encouraging you to send playful texts to someone special or your BFF. Brace yourself for an era of creative brilliance and plenty of social engagements as Mars enters Aquarius later tonight, activating the sector of your chart that governs recreation.

You’ll find that a sensitive mind that’s open to everything and every possibility is exactly the thing you need at this time in order to be successful in reaching all the goals you’re working toward, Libra. You’ll find that your sense of duty and need for plans and solid goals are key elements for getting to where you need to be. Gather information and create a plan of attack that is well thought out.

"Sense of duty and need for plans"...man, that summed up the me of me.  :)  Keep a good thought for me and my planning but more than that for my TX friend and her family and what they cannot plan for but just have to experience.  I hope they are surrounded by the grace of the kindness of strangers. Have a good Monday and hope the same for all.
