Hurry up and wait... :)

I am such a bad traveler these days...even with all "the deets" falling into place - still some trepidation.  And the proverbial "when I get back" list.  More great pics from son.  He was 20 people away from getting into the Good Friday event with the Pope in Rome.  I would love to have seen a scan of that process and my son compared to others in the line. And the Pope skipped it to come to find out.  But he was not that disappointed, next pictures were of a pizza and the restaurant he went to in lieu of Good Friday with the Pope.  I did tell him that I don't think anyone had ever described the event like he did.  :)  Almost got into the pope Easter deal at coliseum, too packed :)  There was also a pic of a man at a table full of people and kids having dinner and he looked like he had more than enough of the holiday festivities - head in hands. 

Rest of my day yesterday - watched all of Wednesday's Chicago shows :), word work, the new regular extendo Friday walk, PD buddy swung by Main St for the elderly check, read Jobs.  Family friend did text to see if I wanted to be next in line for a book she has - The Wager.  I said yes, but it will be a bit - I am 3 deep on bedside table - Jobs, last Krueger and will be picking up W&T book when I get back from trip.  She said fine, she will hang on to it.  

Did my monthly report this a.m.  Only have one square to fill in as of Monday.  Did make some notes in my little notebook I take on trips since I do not have a smart phone.  Wrote down some route stuff to make sure we avoid the GW bridge unless sister #4 wants to go over it.  The Tappan Zee/Gov Cuomo is the wimp-ish way but it is my way.  We will see what sister says.  

Very windy sounding as I sit at window wide open at my computer.  Hope it dies down a bit by walking time, but at least no rain in the forecast until tonight.
