April 15 2024

Sister #1 is headed to Paraguay.  One of her colleagues from Paraguay is still at her house.  Today is her birthday.  I have an email gen'd up to send at 8 a.m.  #1 did her sibling calls yesterday even with all she needed to do to get ready after having an open house for her house guest on Saturday.

Spent time yesterday a.m. listening to an interview of sister #1 by a U of Kentucky oral histories series of PC people.  She called while I was watching it.  Very funny - I told her her call interrupted herself.  :)

Walked to Unionville.  Weather was OK during the walk, but a clap or two of thunder got my attention as I watched the masters.  Very happy with the results.

Daily Stoic today is talking about people who were "big" in our younger years - sports or entertainment - We are not exempt, if anything we are more vulnerable, our legacies less pronounced. This should humble us, give us perspective and also give us a sense of priorities. Be here now. Enjoy it while it’s there. That speaks to what I felt when I saw pics of Eastwood and Hackman in their '90's.  Easier to see the aging process in others than myself...

More beautiful pictures of Lindos from son.  People at the beach.  Back and forth with TX friend.  I had texted her sister to say happy anniversary to her daughter.  My TX friend had made silk screen dish towels for her daughter's and her niece's weddings so I am reminded of anniversaries.  :)  AND it ended up that all three were at TX friend's home!  Lots of synchronicity - within minutes of getting the TX update, family friend sent me a pic from a town cemetery of TX friend's family.  Showed that the
flowers she planted on her last visit "home" had bloomed.  Can't make this stuff up.

You may find it hard to understand some of the things going on at the moment but don’t let it worry you because this is one of those occasions when ignorance is bliss. Leave others to sort out the ills of the world while you are having fun.

You can overcome the intensity of today's planetary energies by making a conscious effort stay positive, Libra. Distract yourself with necessary household chores and errands. Don't forget to take some time out for fun, too. As you work around the house, stop to indulge yourself every few hours. A cup of hot chocolate or a chat on the phone will add a welcome grace note to the day.

The Cancer quarter moon dusts up issues around your personal and professional life, dear Libra, asking you to acknowledge where a balance needs restoring. If you've felt depleted due to mounting pressures at work or home, use this energy to invite grace and recalibrate. Good vibes flow when Neptune activates later this afternoon, making it easier to establish healthy structures to live your best life. This energy could also lead to breakthroughs around the office, especially when creative visions are given a chance to flourish. Invest in your network once Luna enters Leo this evening, pushing you to cultivate your community.

Invite grace and recalibrate...good words.  Keep a good thought for that today for me.  The weather is supposed to encourage good vibrations.  High 60's and sun for my walk time.  Listening to Club Random with Katie Couric as guest...interesting combination.  Have a good Monday.
