Tourtellot wrote of Franklin as to the good news of BF not going to Harvard: he would have been stripped of his spontaneity, intuitive literary style, zest, freshness, and the unclutteredness of his mind. And indeed, Harvard has been known to do that and worse of its charges. Interesting words in today's discussions of the Ivys. :) BF wrote something that again made me think of today: ...some late thoughts of this nature have inclined me to think that the hypocrite is the most dangerous person of the two, especially if he sustains a post in the government. Yesterday was a day. Don't normally wake up with others in the apt. Actually sat at table to have breakfast, went for a short walk to make sure that sister #4 was ready to drive home. Cleaned apt, washed clothes. Noon discussion group that was incredible. Sound and Memory creator. Incredible composition she wrote to become one with a poem an artist wrote. Sister #4 got home safely, she went to her swimming class, got a good report from Dr. re biopsy results.

Heard from former school #2 boss re Spring Musical plan for tomorrow. Dinner at her house and then Musical. Today massage!!!!!! and Last Ecstatic Day movie tonight. It has been a week.
