No parade Monday

I am glad we got our parade view no matter how abbreviated on last Wed. :)  Yesterday I went for a very soggy walk.  Not much else happened.  Did reach out to sisters 4, 6 about the new Margaritaville development in sister #6's town.  Mentioned that maybe that is sister #6 gets her summer job there next year instead of the Tent.  :)

Today Shoprite, walk, CA DC, drop gifts off at the get together for former school #1 boss #2 as he gets ready to leave for Arizona.  NH CT DC tonight.  Have not been a bit but am drawn to it for tonight visit.  Balance of week EOLD tomorrow, Cape Cod Thursday, no niece this weekend, Lansing DC Saturday.

Bad health note for my family friend's grandson...he will be off to the emergency room this a.m. based on something discovered over the weekend.  Not even two years old yet but two surgeries might be his already.  Yikes.

Bill Walton died.  The golfer, the GH actor.  Interesting news over the weekend.

Listening to Prof G as we speak.  Interesting look at a SD Death Talk episode.  Too late in the day for me with the time change but enjoyed the story.  Like the description of the mother of the presenter.  "Her exercise was jumping to conclusions".  :)  All her life my mother had been a pragmatist, with an unrelenting drive to anticipate and prepare for all situations that might befall her. My father liked to joke that she got her exercise jumping to conclusions. Yet her extreme pragmatism served her very well in planning her death. Today, I deeply appreciate having witnessed the preparation, clarity and fearless resolve that marked my mother’s choice to VSED. Her journey took some of the mystery out of death and showed me a way I might someday choose to die.  Thursday I will listen to a discussion by a major advocate for the MAID in Massachusetts.

What seems like a setback today will turn out to be a stroke of good fortune come the end of the week, so don’t let it deflect you from the course you have chosen – it was the right course yesterday and it is still the right course today.

The stars offer encouragement and confidence this morning, dearest Libra, thanks to a sweet exchange between the Aquarius moon and Jupiter. Start your day with positive affirmations to make the most of these vibes, setting intentions around personal goals and living your best life. Harmonious vibes flow mid-afternoon when the Nodes of Fate stir, asking you to invest in relationships that allow you to be yourself. If you've outgrown certain dynamics, use this energy as an excuse to work toward higher ground. Watch out for obsessive behaviors as the day comes to a close and Luna squares off with cerebral Mercury.

Social contact may be limited to Zoom conversations and waving to masked strangers on the street, Libra, but the factors of risk and reward are still in play. From the remove of safe social distancing, the "dangerous stranger" myth is more about fear of the unknown than about imminent physical threat. By taking that risk today, you may be rewarded with a wonderful experience. Either way, you'll be safe and healthy.

Let's hope that me going back into the former school #1 pool is "safe and healthy".  I will keep it short.  :)  Have a good Tuesday.
