Info overload but in a good way :)

Using pics from the Symposium.  Sculpture from the Rwanda presentation.  Taking people from the Burning Inside to Beauty in Life.  Art and Palliative care was the topic of that session.  Perfect in my Daily Stoic after the weekend of listening.  None of us are perfect Stoics. Epictetus wasn’t. Marcus Aurelius wasn’t. We’re going to slip. We’re going to fall short—dismally short most likely. But we can’t give up. We must show that we are trying, that we’re actively transforming ourselves to get and be better. We can at least be that.  AND to be introduced to Peaceful Presence Project web site - a session speaker's group!  What a gift. 

Listened and re-listened to the symposium a lot yesterday.  Then out for a walk.  Family friend called while I was wandering saying she was on Main St and had a book to drop off that her sister gave her when they were at the farm this past weekend... Death is But a Dream.  Can't make up this stuff.  Dr. Christopher Kerr is the author.  She loved the book.  I am looking forward to it.  Went back out to walk after we chatted on Main St a bit.  Then luckily got to the pool when it opened so I had 45 minutes of swimming before they shut for thunder.  Our local weather was making the news due to the golf tournament being postponed.  Heard from NC friends.  Loved it that they could see what was up in my neighborhood.  :)

Listening to Prof G as we speak.  BG2 latest episode up next.  Walk to Unionville.  Pool.  CA ME DC and CA OH DC.  

You must not compromise on a point of principle over the coming week, even if it means you could lose out financially. It does not matter how much money you may make, if your conscience is nagging at you then you will never be happy.
