What a difference a day makes :)

What a difference a day makes.  The picture reminds me of the last days of my work career.  And to be inspired by what was ahead.  This morning I woke up at 5:08 a.m. after a great night's sleep and am inspired by the mood of this a.m. versus yesterday's.  Windows remained wide open all night.  Power on.  Wide world internet "roaring".  :)

Son called when I was in the library room.  Talked with him before I headed to the pool.  He sounds so good.  Does a mother's heart good.  Ad for the lot he has on the market.  Great opportunity! Within walking distance to the future DCFC stadium, this verdant vacant lot is located in up-and-coming Chadsey Condon, which is a Detroit neighborhood adjacent to Core City.

The day ended in a great way yesterday.  The Real Art Ways is a great discovery.  And the Parkville Market. Taiwan Night Market.  What a dinner for under $20 bucks!  I had dumplings!  Parkville Market is a food court of little kiosks of one great kind of foot after another.  I had a hard time picking between empanadas or dumplings.  Dumplings won and I was very happy with my choice.

Thelma was a great movie to get my former boss - a decade younger than me - and I talking about aging, kids, being her age with a great husband and 23 and 27 yr old kids within easy driving distance and my age living alone with 41 yr old son living far away.  All about that life partner choice - and always is.

Woke up to my Daily Stoic email.  Don't wake up and choose violence..In one of his letters, Seneca talks about people who “plunge headlong into the middle of the flood,” referring to people whose lives are filled with needless drama and conflict, busyness and chaos. Sure, a Stoic should be able to endure difficult circumstances and a “turbulent life,” but they would never choose that. No, the wise man, he says, “chooses to be at peace rather than at war.”  The article was a great reminder.  Staying focus on what is essential.

Sounds like people have power back.  Today walk, swim.  Missed a call from my brother yesterday.  Will hope he reaches back out today.

The more you try to discuss your differences with someone in a reasonable manner the more irrational their words and actions are likely to get, so maybe the best approach would be to just keep quiet. Your silences can actually be quite intimidating.

Luna migrates into Aries and aspects Pluto early this morning, dearest Libra, elevating your confidence while expanding the heart. Lean into the vibes by being your most authentic self, investing only in those who love you as you are. Try not to get frustrated if you encounter a few emotional walls, as a harsh square between Mercury and Chiron could lead to moody or stoic demeanors. Luckily, the ambiance elevates when the quarter moon aligns with Jupiter later today, though you'll want to keep the conversation light and harmonious. New commitments or long-term romantic goals could find you tonight when Venus and Mars align.

Today is a fantastic day for you, Libra, so enjoy yourself fully. Your emotions will be stable, and you'll find that you have a very expansive sense of well-being. Your self-confidence is strong, and you should use this to your advantage. This energy may be subtle, but if you tune into it early in the day and set a plan for what you want to accomplish, you'll find you can be quite productive.

Quiet and stable - I will take it after yesterday's ups and downs.  Have a good Friday.

Update:  6 a.m. just got text from family friend.  Walk on for this a.m.  :)  What a difference a day makes x a million.  :)
