People Friday

This is the group that will be gathering in early October but yesterday TX friend's eldest sister said she and her husband would be in town.  Earlier in the day 9 a.m. Virginia, then 10:30 a.m. PD buddy called and asked if I would mind company on my walk.  So we met at the Community Center and headed out.  Not long after getting back, friend's sister called and said to meet at Saybrook Fish House for lunch so I did.  Very enjoyable. They were in town to see another family friend who is home on hospice.  Wish was that she could hang on until other sisters arrived in early October, but that seems a bit out of reach.

Watching WRAL this a.m. instead of my local news.  Asheville, Rocky Mount are in the news.  Yikes. Will hope that my brother checks in today.  Quite a weather week.

Today walk, LA DC later today.  Will see how the day fills in.

Before you condemn someone whose actions you disagree with try looking at the situation from their point of view. For a Libra that should be easy enough but there are times when you expect the rest of the world to be just like you, and it isn’t.

Your weekend offers plenty of love and softness to draw from, dearest Libra, as the Leo moon aligns with Jupiter and Chiron. Use this energy to find fulfillment by taking a moment to appreciate your closest companions and relationship with the universe. Luck and love cross paths under this cosmic climate, aiding your quest for soulmate connections, both romantic and platonic. Take pride in your past when the sun aligns with the nodes of fate, but remember to build with trusted companions moving forward. Steer clear of large crowds tonight when Luna squares Uranus, bringing an unpredictable and rowdy energy to the table.

Today's planetary energies are stimulating your ambition, Libra. Issues connected with your professional life may be very much on your mind. You could plot out ways to further your career. Perhaps you seek a promotion in your current business, or you could be thinking about looking for another job entirely. This is the ideal time to put specific plans into place for the future.

I am always in touch with not being in the majority with my thinking.  :)  Not bad.  Am focused on building companionships moving forward/plans for the future.  Not my strong suit, but I will keep that front of mind.  I do feel sad about NC damage.  I remember back to Fran.  Hurricane Fran made landfall in North Carolina on September 5, 1996 as a Category 3 hurricane, causing widespread damage. Fran's peak intensity was on September 4, with sustained winds of 120 mph and a minimum pressure of 946 mb. In North Carolina.  We arrived in NC in 1995 to an historic ice storm...  Guess I should have tuned in to "change on the horizon" that was to come.  And this was my son's welcome to the world and Houston.  In the early morning hours of August 18, 1983, Hurricane Alicia made landfall at San Luis Pass, Texas, just southwest of the Galveston area. Its 115 mph (185 km/hr) winds slammed the high rises of Houston leaving billions of dollars in damage in its wake.  Pattern?  Stormy.  :)

Have a good Saturday.  Hope NC friends get home safe and sound from beach to Triangle return trip.  Hope brother and nieces give a signal that they are high and dry.  My brother did lots of prep around his house when they remodeled to make sure water would not be his nemesis.  One Niece's house is high on their lot.  Other niece is on second floor apartment if I am remembering right.  And I was complaining about damp sneakers on Thursday.  :)
