Sept 1

Rainbow over sister #1's house on Sunday.  Good start to the month.  Would have been our mother's 102nd.  Son "celebrating" with an event at Eastern Market in Detroit.  Detroit Sandwich Party is a one-day festival for sandwich enthusiasts by sandwich enthusiasts in partnership with the North Corktown Neighborhood Association. Growing from Carlos Parisi and friends' Detroit Sandwich Week every December, the summer Detroit Sandwich Party pays homage to the great sandwich makers of our beautiful city.  His pizza place and sandwich food truck were in the competition.  Did watch a bit of golf...$25 million winning for a day of play.

For me yesterday - walk, read Allende, got my back pack down to start packing for Thursday. No DC tonight due to holiday.  Will pick up the town laptop on Wednesday to travel with.

You are closer to reaching a long-term objective than you seem to realize and if you make a serious push over the next few days your goal will soon be in sight. Whatever it is you most desire that is what the universe will give you.

Let each interaction uplift you, sweet Libra, as Mercury and Chiron form a supportive trine. Seek positive connections with good people, reinforcing the appreciation you feel for each friendly face you encounter. Just be sure to monitor your own needs as you socialize, especially under tonight's Virgo new moon. This lunation asks you to go deep within, gaining a better understanding of where you're at and which areas of your life need improvement. These vibes are also perfect for laying low to recharge and emotionally reset. Find release through movement when Mars and Neptune align tonight, seeking body/spirit connection.

An unexpected career break could come your way, Libra. It should be exciting and encouraging - and a little scary! Don't let apprehension get to you. You won't want to let this opportunity pass you by. Your good fortune could arouse envy in some of your co-workers, but don't let this bother you either. Simply do what you need to do to get the ball rolling and then go ahead with it.

Day is projected to be less HHH today.  Yesterday's walk to Unionville was a bit sticky.  Did run into PD buddy outside apt as he was in mid run and I was at the end of my walk.  Too funny.

Have a good Labor Day Monday.
