Shredding holiday :)

Going back and forth with one of the swimming ladies who had a hip replaced last Wednesday.  Share a pick with her of what I was doing this time last year sleeping in a recliner next to my sister who had a hip replacement and a perforated ulcer in the course of a few hours.  I told the swimming lady her recovery HAD to have a better look than my sister's.  :)  

Yesterday was full of shredding.  I had a bag of stuff from the closet that needed to be shredded so I decided to do it manually...  Done.  Went for my walk.  Reservoir stretch was full of walkers.  Pretty quiet along most of the way.  

Watched Kevin Rose youtube about his Ketamine experience.  There is such a parallel world out there.  Got an email from bride to be niece - speaking of another parallel world.  That wedding weekend is going to be interesting to say the least.  Father who doesn't even know his daughter is getting married.  Activities that seemed to fill the weekend now being pared down...Most of family will be off to the Cape once the festivities are over.  I need to find a place for son and I to hang out until it is time for him to go back to airport on Sunday.  But first I have spirit lifting trip to NC.  

Today Shoprite for just a few things since I will be gone for a bit and come back in time for Sr Disc Tuesday next week.  Walk.  Swing by library/community center to ask about picking up my travel laptop at the Sr Center tomorrow.  Wash clothes, run dishwasher.  Pack.  

It isn’t possible to turn back the clock but why would you want to when you have so much going for you and so many things to look forward to over the next few months? It’s natural to have a few regrets but don’t let them hold you back.
