Saturday

Had to break it to my landlord yesterday that I would not be leaving town on the town Halloween Parade weekend as I usually do.  :)  No parking spot to offer his family. I will stash my car somewhere so sister #4 can have my spot behind the apartment.  Memorial for her classmate the same weekend as the parade which is causing havoc for people trying to find a place to stay that weekend.  Oh well.  Also told landlord about the Brewery opening up in downtown.  

Yesterday - Walk.  Put some books in the little library box at the end of the block.  Have some more to put there today.  Also passing one book along to landlady.  Can't remember if I had mentioned it to her before.  Took a second walk and saw the swimming lady who had her hip replaced.  She was driving so all seems to be going along well.  Her daughter and granddaughter were due up for the weekend from NYC.  I watched way too many videos from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.  Elon's Starlink is saving the day in some places.  

Lansing DC this a.m.  Conversation with Virginia this afternoon.  Alameda DC tomorrow.
