27 degrees to welcome me this a.m.

No windows this a.m.  But I do feel that I have some ducks in a row after yesterday.  Cleaned the apt.  Walked with family friend.  Joyce at 4.  Lansing at 7.  Today 12:30 p.m. talk to Virginia and Crystal.  Takes a village to keep my train on the tracks these days.  DC at 2 p.m.  It is one I don't usually go to, but something is drawing me in.  Walk this a.m.  Need to pick up a new book.  Finished Jance book.  Talked to the guy who took my job over when I left Houston in 1995.  I had to remind him that meeting one of our agent's husband at our company holiday party in Dec 1994...made it possible for me to tell the owners on Valentine's Day 1995 "I'm leaving, but we got our guy."  :)  We had gone on a road trip in 1994 across North Carolina deciding at Chapel Hill as our 1995 destination.  Finding my replacement was my mission post that trip.  

Don't know if I shared this yesterday - lots of passion running deep in the world right now.  Someone in one of my discussions said to "turn passion into compassion"...I will give that a try.  

Tomorrow walk in the a.m. with a former co worker.  Ran into her on Sunday as I started my walk, she was finishing hers.  

Try not to be suspicious when dealing with people whose aims and ambitions don’t seem to make sense. Just because you don’t understand their motives does not mean they are up to no good. Chances are they don’t understand your motives either!
