My son is quite a person

Felt there should have been a rainbow in the sky yesterday.  There certainly was one figuratively.  There was a lot going on on many levels in the post no turkey Thanksgiving.  Heard from sister #4 on my walk.  Had a great zoom with sister #1, son, and a group in Seattle.  Post that discussion sister #1, son and I had a separate zoom and the course for the months ahead unfolded.  Lots of work on my part to rebuild and reconstruct how I want to go at the time ahead.  But my son voiced some things that truly put our upcoming trip in new focus and that I can lean on him a bit more than I had in the past.  Sounds dramatic in my usual dramatic way, but I have been challenged by what is ahead.  We will see what's next.  The first things first - picking up son at train station on Thursday, getting a ride to airport on Friday and the trip begins - Detroit, Sedona/Cornville, San Francisco/Berkeley, Mt Shasta, Joshua Tree, back to Collinsville early January.  

And to add to my thoughts yesterday - right before the Seattle meeting 1:11 pm on my phone...during meeting with sister and son 4:44 pm.  Woke up this a.m. to 3:33 am...

I continue to feel guided - I take inspiration from anywhere.  :)  So yesterday - sunny walk, sneakers dried out, Seattle, son and sister, call from one of the people I will be meeting "IRL" for the first time in Berkeley after being in zoom rooms since March 2020, then called it a day.  Today walk.  Again try to get a handle on what I will need for all the climates our trip will take us but WITHOUT checking any luggage...  

Forget about finishing minor tasks that no longer matter and focus on getting out into the world and having fun with your friends. You are a sociable creature by nature and are at your best when surrounded by like-minded people.
