Quiet day - dry walk.

TX friend sent me pics of the Christmas stocking her sister made for her granddaughter who died.  Beautiful and with the poem I wrote embroidered on the back.  Beautiful on so many levels as I shared with my friend.  

Don't think I uttered one word yesterday.  Solitary day.  Not a bad thing after the last couple of months.  Walked with umbrella I did not need but that is not a problem.  Was aghast at the price of eggs.  I had been getting them from family friend, but now that her chickens are not laying...I will have to deal with bird flu pricing.  

Today - grocery store for cranberry sauce.  I did not get assigned anything to bring, but sister #1's gentleman caller is making homemade cranberry sauce and I know sister #4 will not touch that.  :)  Then to the hardware store to get an apt key made.  Want to give it to sister #4 in case she wants to stay at the apt while I am on trip with my son.  Her high school friend who works in Bermuda comes home and has a big open house on Jan 1.  The off for the walk with Joyce and a group of her other clients.  I am not usually drawn to this type of gathering, but this I was.  Then lunch in Litchfield.  Then CA/ME DC and Albany CA DC.  

Need to start sifting and sorting as to what to bring to VA with me for T'Day trip and then the bigger question of what to take on son trip.  Too many climates to be addressed...and not checked bags.  Will put some energy into that today.

Whining will get you kicked off the boat altogether. Today's energy is teaching you to toughen up. Don't take it personally. Realize that there are important lessons we all need to learn. One of them is to know when to be silent.
