Moving in to Cornville AZ...remote and dark by the time we got there. Son's buddy took us to the airport. 1 p.m. left and arrived in Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. their time. (this time thing is going to be a "thing" for me.) Oh well. Flew Frontier for the first time. Our row was one of only two in the plane not filled. Very nice. Picked up car (amazing how a smart phone makes that easier...) :) Drove to Cornville where the airbnb is. REMOTE but what isn't around here. Man, I am glad I live on Main St in a small but not remote town. Went to Brewha for dinner. A welcome event since I had not eaten since 7 a.m. east coast time...it was 7 p.m. AZ time when we sat down to eat. https://www.brewhaaz.com/
Today we need to map out our stay here and I need to get son's consensus on our Monday Dec 18 landing in SF. My recommendation is we pass on seeing sister #1 and her gentleman caller who overlap for a few hours in the area and concentrate on seeing niece (#1's daughter) and some DC people who I have never met IRL. AND I need to have son get me a flight home. We left things open, but now I want to close them. :) I want to start January back in my apartment. Now that I have seen son's situation, I know I will be the keeper of stuff for a while longer so I want to get it out of my office and back into my closet - close the closet door and let that go. I will put my stuff that is left post purging in the storage that runs between the bathroom and my bedroom and fix up the office bed area so that I do not move out for company if staying overnight. Now with all the airbnbs in my town staying with me is last option but it is the shift of mindset that will make a difference for me.

Looking forward to seeing what this area looks like in the daylight. And to see the sunset that we just saw over our shoulder on the ride up. NO light pollution around here...I would kill for some street lights. :) The landscape was a bit surreal looking on the ride. Reminded me of Albuquerque.
