Now I really need to think about packing... :)

 A picture of another family gathering I missed over the T'Day weekend.  Did send the pic to my son with a history of the people there.  Very interesting snapshot of my mother's side of the family.  Did make me think about having my son do an Ancestry.com kind of search.  His father's side of the family could maybe discover some of the family who disowned his paternal grandfather's family when he married outside of the faith.  Does his father have other siblings?  Does his father have lots of cousins?  His father came from a very big family so who knows.  But did get me thinking as I wander through the winding road that tied all the people in the picture together.  

Yesterday - late start on walk.  Wanted to let it warm up as much as possible.  :)  Long talk with TX friend as I walked.  I don't know how people talk on the phone when they are not walking.  Did go to Alameda DC later in the day.  Had a great response from landlady about the Christmas bowl I gave her. She said she will need to have a party now to use it.  I told her that it made my heart sing to know that the bowl was finally going to a party!  I have had it for over a decade - casi two - and never used it so in my sifting and sorting I want to clear the decks of as much stuff as possible and then figure out what I truly want to surround myself with post my trip.  I hope all the vortexes are throwing out enough energy to recharge me.  :)  

Need to freshen up before my 7:30 a.m. zoom with newlywed niece.  Then walk.  20 degrees as we speak.  I will wait till it gets a "balmy" 32 around 11 a.m. to start oiut. Then I really need to start packing.  I need to be so efficient as to son's mandate - no checked bag - and the fact that we are covering various climates...  I did go with just a backpack in 2019 to Ecuador for 3 weeks so I think I can do this.
