One more prep day... :)

Three oldest of the next generation.  Cousin on the right - 37 today.  Sent her 3 pictures of the same gang over the years.  The gang is getting old.  41, 37, 37.  Guess that says something about my sibling generation.  :)

Yesterday:  Shoprite - list was down to bananas to get me to Friday take off,  cleaned the apartment.  Put my bed in the "winter location" away from drafty windows.  Walked.  Trying to put some thought into post trip.

As 2024 draws to a close, we find ourselves amidst a whirlwind of events, from a contentious presidential election to Thanksgiving, and the upcoming December holidays. This time can be overwhelming, filled with personal grief, loss, joy, and everything in between. We encourage you to carve out some "me time" to reflect on what truly matters to you.

January is a natural "jump into new" month.  I am focused on that being the case for me.

Be forceful today and make sure everyone knows that you are not and never will be a fool. That applies doubly on the work front where it appears that some of your colleagues have been taking advantage of your generous nature. It’s got to stop.

Pace yourself as the sun and Saturn square off, darling Libra, especially if you start to feel scattered between tasks. Consider drafting a to-list as Venus and Neptune align, using organization to support yourself so you can hit a healthy flow. Don't be afraid of emotional exchanges when Luna and Uranus align, which can dramatically improve and intensify essential relationships. This energy also lends aid to your evolution of the soul, especially when you seek to empower the self through acceptance and nurturing. Your artistic depth benefits from a cosmic noise later tonight when Luna enters Aquarius and aspects Pluto, urging you to create!

Make sure you leave things in better condition than you found them, Libra. This is a good time to tidy your personal space and the environment. This is also a great time to do some online shopping for yourself. Just be careful that you don't spend too much money. When beautiful things catch your eye, it might be hard for you to resist them, regardless of how much they cost.

Trying to decide about food for when son and cousin arrive tomorrow.  Landlady did deliver homemade cookies last night so that is a plus.  :)  I never have much in the cupboard or refrigerator but I really have nothing now as I get ready to be gone for a month...  Today walk - with family friend I hope.  She fell on Friday...  EOLD discussion Bucket List Adaptations.  Think most packing is done except for what is the wash for today or tomorrow.  Will have to fire up the heat tomorrow morning to get apt warm for company.  :)  Have a good Wednesday.
