Has it only been 48 hours back home?...

Drinking coffee made in the new coffeemaker sister #6 brought for me on her visit yesterday.  She also ordered me a new desk calendar - to arrive Tuesday - so I have something to pick up when my current one runs out on Jan 31.  Feel that I have "re-settled" a lot in the last 48 hours.  Ready for 2025?  We will see. Got a spurt of energy after sister left and finished moving boxes I had dragged out for son's review back into the closet.  He will get them when he gets them.  I have shut the door on that closet.  :)

Pulled the trigger on the new sneakers and socks using REI credits.  Went through my Shoprite coupons to check off the items I might get on Tuesday.  Sister #6 brought me chili and corn bread for my meal today.  Amazing that I really have not had to go to the grocery store since I got back.  Used sister #1's gift certificate for lunch with visiting sister yesterday.  

Talked to TX friend.  Still loving my Love & Whiskey book.  Today will think about Unionville walk...it is cold out, but it got very bearable once we got walking yesterday so I think I will make it.  

The more you try to help certain people the more aggressive they get, so stop wasting your time on them and focus on your own needs instead. On the work front, especially, there will be opportunities to move up over the coming week. Take them!

I will hope to hear back from owners of restaurant to see if they are open to me filling any blank they feel they may have after their first month being open...  There seemed to be some gaps as sister and I ate our lunch there yesterday.  :)
