Heard from son!

I know my son did not revert back to a flip, but he does have a new mexican phone.  Like the greek phone he got last March when he was in Europe and lost his phone.  I told him that I will stay away from the international charges I would incur if I called that phone and will communicate with him via email.  I hope that means that his laptop is still in his possession.  But at least my wild thoughts of cartel involvement in his comings and goings was not what was happening.  I do not know what led to him being separated from his phone this time around, but I will leave that to him and his father.  It is such a good thing that his father chose ATT to go work for when he chose his career post us and that he and son are in close contact!  Bit load off my mind.  Son did send a pic of himself to my picture frame after we went back and forth on email.  Good "proof of life" if I am going to stay with the cartel imaginings I was having.  I would be on the ground in the fetal position if I found myself in the life my son leads.  Oh well.  Family friend had assured me on our walk yesterday that he had been instagram posting regularly so I that gave me some peace, but his outreach later in the day was icing on that reassurance cake.  

Rest of day - Shoprite with a bad "ratio" - $33/$4.  Life in the grocery store is a nightmare these days.  I walked in the a.m.  Family friend wanted to change the day.  She is getting ready to go to France for a week with her sister so she needed to free up this a.m. for something.  We got caught in a snow squall.  Whiteout conditions then the sun came out.  I had snow and ice hanging from my hair and I was soaking wet by the time I got home.  Then CA DC. Ran dishwasher and did a load of wash.  I did get the AMAZON return slip in the mail yesterday from TX friend so I will walk the package to KOHL's this a.m. and get that return done.  Then EOLD.  Then clean apt.  Warmest part of today will be this a.m. so I hope to enjoy that on the walk.  

Will see what the day brings.  Did get more pancake mix yesterday - the kind of "just of add water", so I will enjoy that this morning.  Will see how long I can make the dozen eggs last.  At 11 as of my treat yesterday a.m. of an egg sandwich.  :)
