March Madness

I don't have lots of devices, but my mind felt like the picture yesterday.  :)  Worked on my brackets in my dream last night...hope I remember all my entries.  Also "no coincidence" that I ran into a former school #1 co worker and his wife on my walk yesterday who are connected to UNC via his brother's work.  Lots of sports talk.  

The day did get sad for me after talking to sister #4.  She got home safely from Florida.  But the sad piece was she shared with me that my brother is moving.  Del Webb in Fugua Varina.  Looks very nice.  And that he and wife are off to Ireland soon.  Brother has not spoken to me since we had a discussion in October 2024...  He asked that I keep my life to myself going forward.  And that includes his daughters too.  One daughter moved to California.  One is in Raleigh.  I would have reached out to her last night when I saw UCONN playing in Raleigh.  She is a UCONN grad and fan!  Hope she gets to go.  Reminds me of the year I went to the Friday/Sunday first rounds game of the tournament when I lived near Raleigh.  Went in at 10 a.m. ish and came out at 10 p.m. ish - lots of games.

Did lots of work on my blog work yesterday and sent my blog boss to make sure I was on the right track.  

Family friend sent me a WSJ article.  A couple of quotes hit me.  Glad she sent it to me.  Talked to sister #4 about #6's newly purchased yearbook.  I asked sister #4 if she knew why the guy I replaced in March 1978 left school making a spot for me to jump into when I got back from Peace Corps.  He left abruptly..."married a student" per sister #4...that would do it.  :)

Today will follow up on my blog work.  Will walk when the rain stops.  About half way through #3 Locke so might need to swing by library to restock.  4:30 p.m. PA DC.
