What a day!

Birth and death.  Two families that grew up just houses away from each other in my generation.  One family with a death and one with a birth.  A baby being born as the second daughter who will be growing up as an only child.  A family who has lost two siblings in a matter of months.  One at 63 yrs old and in Oct last year one at 66 yrs old.  There was lots of going back and forth with friends and siblings about what had happened over a 24 hour period.  I wrote something, but will wait a bit for sharing.  I am glad I had two DCs to filter my thoughts and share without sharing directly.

But back to the day - it was a Shoprite $39.15/$48.94 spend/save day.  Hope I enjoy having soup a lot over the next little bit.  :)  Ran dishwasher and load of clothes.  Glad with all that was happening in the afternoon, I got that done early in the day.  Today I will clean apt at some point.  So Shoprite, walk, picked up three new books.  W&T book The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna (author is giving a talk at the library pre book club so that will be interesting), The Jackal's Mistress by Bohjalian, and The Mark of the Assassin by Silva.  Should finish my #3 Locke today.  Then CA DC.  IOWA DC at 7 p.m.  Both were good places to rest my thoughts about the life/death news of the day.  And sister #1 asked if she could share my contact info with a friend of her gentleman caller who just lost her husband.  Will be interested in what comes out of that.  I did do some more outreach for the GDS blog yesterday.  Meet with that group on Thursday via ZOOM.

Did not know the basketball news of the day until this a.m.  Will see how things set up for the real start of the tournament on Thursday.  So far so good.  :)

Today I plan on walk, clean, EOLD group, walk up to town meeting tonight.  I cannot find any minutes or recordings for the meeting I went to...odd.  I could have sworn I saw a recording after the meeting.  Hmmm...  I will ask family friend if she and her husband have done all they wanted to do in their follow up before I make an appt with town CAO about my suggestions.

Partners and colleagues will want more of a say in joint activities when the sun moves into your opposite sign tomorrow and if you are smart you will let them come up with a few suggestions – some of which may actually be worth following.

Move with precision, not haste, darling Libra. As the Scorpio moon aspects Uranus, nodes of fate, Pisces sun, and Neptune, now is the time to fine-tune techniques to produce excellent results. A focus on health is also encouraged while the sun and Neptune join forces, motivating you to follow up on wellness goals you've been working toward. Live your best life by supporting yourself with brilliant routines that have the power to uplift you. A witty and passionate energy livens up your love life once the moon enters Sagittarius, forming romantic aspects with Pluto and Venus Rx.

Don't trust anyone today, not even people you consider friends, Libra. There are indications of deception all around, especially at work. Someone may be keeping something from you or even manipulating information to his or her own advantage. Be sure to check the facts of any situation. Don't take anyone's word for anything. This is a good day to take your own advice rather than someone else's.

I guess I am being guided to lay low and quiet my thoughts.  Always good for me...  Also glad to see the astronauts got home safely.  Even thought my son would probably ask me "were they really anywhere?"  Just to get me going on simulations and alternate realities.  :)  I will try to stay in my own realm today and keep my thoughts to myself.  Have a good Wednesday.
