What was yesterday about?

 I am looking for blooms from the asphalt today.  I am taking a look at the people who have come into my life of late.  Month of March specifically.  I am following my energy.  Yesterday I signed up to volunteer for town's FOCUS group who does a spring cleaning day to help people who need help with chores around the house or their yard.  May 17.  Emailed but had not heard back from the nursing home in our town who had asked via a town email for people who might be interested in volunteering.  One of the things they said they needed was someone who could take a resident outside with the spring weather coming.  We will see if I hear back.  I went for walk with family friend.  Tacked on a walk through Shoprite to see if the coffee that was not in on Tuesday but was supposed to be in on Wednesday...not there.  I will swing by again today on my walk.  Club savings on coffee and $2 off a dozen eggs.  Will take my shopping bag with me on my walk.  

Balance of yesterday - cleaned apartment, got soup and cookies delivered to me from landlady but after I had had my second meal so I am very excited about my second meal today.  Reached out to some people to see if they could help my sister's friend whose husband has just died and she is have enough glimpses of cognizant impairment to know she is up against it.  The ended the day at a webinar sponsored by our library with an interview with Jodi Picoult talking about her latest book which I had read.  By Any Other Name.  Very good discussion.  I will keep an eye on those notices going forward.  

Today - raining as we speak, but should clear for an afternoon walk.  Then 6:30 p.m. to the library for a presentation by a local author.  Author Talk with Juliet Grames  I will hope the weather supports a walk up and back.  

Crickets from son in Tulum.  Theoretically heading back to his home base on April 8.
