Day alone in the rain :)

Has a request for a letter I wrote to the author of an article in El Central to be reprinted.  Will let son in Detroit know if it makes it to press.  :)  Had to check with my blog boss to make sure it was OK to use the blog logo and web address.  

Yesterday walked around the block but no further with the wind and rain...crappy day.  Sister #1 and su companera de trabajo de Paraguay pulled out at 8:30 a.m.  With a packet of scones baked by my landlady.  I had one waiting outside on my step after I heard sister pull out.  Did lots of blog work on the rainy day.  3 p.m. DC.  Feel that one of the ladies in the meeting was referring to my sister #1's gentleman caller's friend when she was talking to someone who might have had her window close as to end of life choices because of her cognitive impairment...I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is not.  

Today - I will try to walk...but 2025 finds me less enthusiastic about walking in all weathers.  :/  Oh well.  Tonight Cape Cod DC.  TX friend is trying to find a place to stay when she comes east for her sister and brother in law's 50th anniversary party in June.
