Topsy turvy day

I am feeling a bit mentally cluttered.  Didn't do my word work until post walk yesterday.  Not sure how I got distracted yesterday morning that had me leave that undone...  :/  The only thing I had on my paper calendar was 6 p.m. webinar by NY discussion about MAID with Dr. Pope.  Great presentation - he never disappoints.  Other than that - I did do my Shoppes route.  The first time I have done that full route since March.  Stopped to talk to brother's best friend.  He and his brothers own the local "shopping center".  Now up for sale.  That will be a big change if a real developer buys it.  We will see if the town gets its back up about anything.  Did clean the apartment yesterday morning.  That might have been the distraction with that moving from Wednesday to Thursday.  Luckily no Wednesday night shows to watch.  Do have Thursday shows to watch today.  Walk.  Sister and her companera de trabajo de Paraguay arrive at 4-5 p.m.  Dinner upstairs at landlord's at 5:30 p.m.  Not the time sister y su amiga are used to eating dinner.  But my town is not cosmopolitan.  :) 

Not sure what I will do about Lansing DC and walk and talk book club tomorrow.  Weather could be an issue with book club.  What sister has planned for the a.m. could be an issue with Lansing.  Oh well.  Sunday we are off to eastern Connecticut.  Amiga has made contact with the host family from when she came to the US in high school in 1969-70!  That should be quite the reunion.  That began la amiga's cross cultural experiences that live on to today.  Sister #1 and I will have lunch with the family and then leave amiga to herself with them and we will wander the area.  

Lots of assignments from blog "boss".  Need to get company out of town and get back to work.  :)

Good to read I will be more open to people today...I will have no choice but be around them.  As to the dinner party tonight - party of 7.  Landlord (classmate of sister #1), landlady, sister #1, amiga de Paraguay, me, another classmate of sister #1 and his wife.
