Change, chance

Loved this image and wrote my NC blog writing friends that I appreciated them including it in their latest post.  The biggest gift you can give to me in this change/chance time of all our lives is to be the best stewards of the time and energy you have for each other. My cup runneth over with all the generosity, wisdom and kindness you have given me over the years. I do appreciate the change/chance image. Every change in life gives us a chance to see our lives in a new light. Here is to the brightest and most life-illuminating light shining on you and Mary in this time of change.  They are going to post less often going forward.  It makes me sad, but also reality of all our moving along the continuum of life...change into chance.  We have simultaneously entered a new phase of life where we are unable to do many of the things we always used to do and tasks, if we can still do them at all, take longer. I considered abandoning the blog, but as it provides us good purpose and pleasure, we have decided that instead of writing one post for each month as we are currently doing, we will write one post for every other month, considerably reducing research and writing time.

Good thoughts for my day yesterday.  25 years of friendship and support.  And the push to write poems from the author's Sixty Minute Poet book. North Carolina was a hot bed for many changes in my life and times - and spirit.

Yesterday - Lansing DC.  Short walk in the rain.  Read Allende.  Talked to son.  He and I are both floundering a bit.  Need to think and write about that some more.  Talked to sister #6.  She is off today to visit with her WV friend who is my TX friend's sister.  That family is still gathered on the Cape for their eldest sister's 50th wedding anniversary party that was yesterday.

Today - walk to Unionville, no rain in the forecast.  More reading.  Will see what fills in any gaps.  UNC baseball in game 3 of their Super Regional.  Fingers crossed.

Now is the time to make yourself known and show those above you on the career ladder that you have what it takes to follow in their footsteps. But don’t come on too strong and give the impression that you are after their job – especially if you are!

Make wishes and watch to see how the universe responds, dear Libra, when Mercury and Jupiter unite. Supercharging the sector of your chart that governs luck and spirituality, now is the time to seek reinforcements from the great beyond. Put practical application toward your dreams once Mercury migrates into Cancer later today, demonstrating that you can back up your ideas with hard work. Focus on cultivating habits that will increase your presence and overall wellness when the Scorpio Moon aspects the Nodes of Fate this evening. Avoid overdoing it with your screens once Luna squares Mars tonight, or you may struggle to sleep.

There's a tremendously sensitive side to your personality that's tender and extremely vulnerable, Libra. Be careful about putting too much of yourself out there now. By opening yourself up so much, you're inviting in trouble. Others might not be that aware of how sensitive you are. Those with strong, boisterous spirits are likely to be abrasive, so protect your emotions.

Open to what the cosmos has to share.  :)  Have a good Sunday.
